21st COHREP National Convention Update

Dear COHREP Members and Friends,
     It’s 9 days to our convention! 9 Reasons to Attend the 21st COHREP National Convention
  1. fellowship night will have a lot of surprises, food, etc.  Make sure to wear your black attire (blouse/shirt, pants/shorts) and comfortable footwear!
  2. tour on Feb. 2 – we will be visiting various tourist destinations, a little of flora, a little of fauna, a little of food, souvenirs, etc; WEAR your OLD COHREP t-shirt and special prizes will be given to the “OLDEST YEAR,” and  “MOST CREATIVE DESIGN,” t-shirt.
  3. pre-conference seminars – these will be on new high technology, high touch, giving our faculty members new tools to use!
  4. Dr. Allan de Guzman -our GMM speaker who managed to “wow” us with research strategies, and will be doing part 2
  5. Dr. Gerry Cao – who sang songs of various generations, and kept us awake thru an after lunch session!
  6. ASEAN 2015 – the new buzz word and how it will impact our programs in the coming months and years
  7. STRs (Smith Travel Research) tool for research
  8. exhibitors that will show new books, products, etc
  9. raffle prizes that include scholarship grants to international programs, books, etc

COHREP Convention – Fellowship Night Surprises

Dear COHREP Members and Friends,

It’s 14 days to our COHREP Convention.  As part of the activities, a fun-filled fellowship dinner on January 31 is being planned by COHREP Region XI.  They are preparing a lot of activities, fun, and food. All you have to do is wear any “black colored top (t-shirt, shirt, tank top, tube blouse, etc- as long as it is comfortable and plain black)  and black bottom (skirt, pants, leggings, shorts, – as long as it is comfortable and plain black) and comfortable footwear!

See you all on Thursday, Jan 31 for formal sessions, informal sessions (fellowship night, tour), and loads of catching up!  Please spread the word around to your colleagues and friends who will be attending the convention!

Call for Papers – Deadline Fast Approachin​g!

Hurry! The Deadline of Submission to the 2013 Annual ICHRIE Conference Call for Papers is on January 20, 2013!

** Also: All meeting for the ICHRIE Conference should be submitted by 20 January, including Committee, SIG and Chapter meetings. **

Using the ICHRIE website in coordination with EasyChair, you may submit the following:

 

  • refereed papers
  • refereed posters
  • refereed symposiums & workshops
  • SIG meeting and presentation requests
  • Committee meeting requests
  • Chapter meeting requests

Please note: all Federation Meetings will be automatically added to the Conference Program.

3-Day LPU CI ServSafe Certification Training Program

The LPU Culinary Institute is once again opening it’s doors for accepting enrollees for the 2nd Batch of the 3-Day LPU CI ServSafe Certification Training Program. Happening on Feb 19, 21 and 23, 2013, the program is recognized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for Food Protection. Attached is a material relative to the subject matter.
